Our job in the field of water provision in África and Latin America


Since their foundation Remar have been reaching objectives to improve the conditions of multiple lives that includes the area of rehabilitation, even the sustainment of basic fundamental necessities such as food, clothing,shelter,schooling...

Our job in the field of the provision of water, are developing principally in Africa and Latin America with well drilling at seasonal camps that Remar build in places in need of help.

The quality of drinking water, is a question that worries different countries all over the world. Different harmful beings such as microoraganisms, chemicals, minerals, they can be present by different causes natural or artificial (in which men have intervened) in the waters humans consume. Analyse components, prevent and find the best solution for each case, is something that we propose in this project.

Our actual project for the potabilisation and improvements of public funds investing inthe quality of surface water, sits principally over the line. UTAP units of the treatment of water purification. Although this is our main line of action, we carry on providing solutions and improvements in the groundwater supply or water table with other units of potabilisation.

We opt for a water treatment plant whose basic design becomes a very versatile modular equipment, with an ease of handling and operation fit for areas with limited material resources and humans. It´s well adapted to developing areas with necessities of improvement in its water level, that the water treatment plants more sophisticated with great number of control elements, energy requirements and problems of spare parts.

1. "The plant UTAP, is a group of a modular equipment potabilisation, esily transportable, fabricated with resistant materials, inert and durable such as polypropylene and carbon steele. With easy, fast installation and simple management and operation."
"The water treatment UTAP makes a Physico-chemical treatment of surface water extraction... causes rivers, marshes, reservoirs... obtaining clean and balanced water, suitable for human consuption"
"The body of the plant consists of a compact module where they occur, sequentially, all the processess for the water treatment."
"The group incorporates all hydraulic systms, mechanical and electrical necessary to operate cleaning processes high water flows: coagulation, flocculation and sedimentation of the colloidal pollutants and the final filtrate"

2. "In a first stage the entrance of raw water is carried through the lateral line reactor- tubular, where the processes of the preparation of water dosage and mix of products in the same one."

"The water flow is passed by segments or static mixers and taken to the flocculation chamber, first the interior compartments of the treatment"

3."The water treatment incorporates four dosage posts for storing and dosing the chemicals used throughout the treatment. The versatility of the group facilitates treatments performedsuccessfully, both water with low contamination as waters with high values of turbity and coloration."

"Each point of dosage compones of a deposit for the prouct, with it´s corresponding dosing pump"
"One of the positions incorporates an agitator to maintain the optimal conditions of the dissolution of the chemical used, when the conditions of temperature and concentration make it necessary."
"The injection in the water flow of the dosing of products, It´s performed previously mentioned static mixers, that observe how to thicker segments in line of the entrance of the raw water of the tubular reactor... Over them the elements of injection or drill become available."


4."Since the superior part of the plant, we can observe the compartments where the rest of the treatments happen... The flocculator where the velocity of the water flow slows down to facilitate the aggregation of the colloidal material in water suspension. The decanter where sedimentation occurs of the flocs helped by lamellar packets that increase the velocity of the process. The silica sand filter retain the last residual contamination, before the exit of the treated water of the plant.

6."Extraction system of the sludge out of the plant."
"A collector collects dirty water obtained of the occasional wash of the sand filter, It also collects the basal part of the group , where they drain valves of the lower hoppers of the flocculation chambers and the sedimenter that collects all the contaminated material extracted from the water in sludge forms that are regularly emptied, according to the operating plant, designed for the plant."

7. "The water treatment UTAP in it´s basic form, the manual handling, it´s controlled froma simple operating panel."
"The general panel has a poweer switch ARREST/MOTION of the plant, that acts by a security key."
"The panel provides of a general switch ON/OFF for the wash of the sand filter in mode against current. The activation of this process acts on the anti-washing pump that provides the plant."
"The main switch STOP/MOTION, also works as a STOP for emergencies in case of a necessity, leaving of the plant totally detained with just one push of the button."

8. Being the manual version of the UTAP200 a team of fast intallation and easy handling, it´s able to proportion the flow of the water treated over 20.000litres/hora depending on the condition of the raw water. The modular connection facilitates the connection of varied plants in parallel to try and get potabilisation flows even larger.
