Durante el mes de noviembre se han producido en REMAR Brasil noticias de gran calado que queremos destacar en este mini reportaje.
La ONGD REMAR INTERNACIONAL tiene desde hace 20 años una intensa actividad solidaria en la República de Brasil en la que da atención integral a miles de personas en situación de necesidad extrema y apoya a las autoridades del país en la solidaridad, la prevención de las adiciones y la protección infantil.
El Departamento de Proteçao Civil APROCIV del Estado de Guarulhos ha firmado un nuevo convenio de colaboración con el programa de acción social REMAR SOS por el que ambas entidades se apoyarán mutuamente para hacer más efectivo su trabajo y poder llegar a más indigentes o personas en situación de necesidad imperiosa.
Tras la reciente tragedia en la ciudad de Mariana en el Estado de Minas Gerais la ONGD REMAR acudió de inmediato en socorro de las víctimas del rompimiento de los muros de contención de la presa de la mina Germano. La catástrofe ocasión un importante número de damnificados que están siendo atendidos por la empresa propietaria de la mina, las autoridades locales y los voluntarios de REMAR BRASIL.
En el Estado de Paraná, concretamente en la localidad de Londrina se acaba de inaugurar un comedor social para indigentes en el que, cada día, se da atención a más de cien personas en situación de exclusión social.
REMAR en España, en Brasil y en los 72 países en los que opera, siempre acude a ayudar con su trabajo esforzado y valiente a los que clama por la solidaridad y el pronto socorro.
